Exo K and Exo M
EXO-K was the Korean subunit of the boy group EXO. They were formed by SM Entertainment and made their debut in 2012 along with the Chinese subunit, EXO-M. The group initially consisted of six members: Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.
EXO-K released their debut EP titled "Mama" on April 9, 2012, which included the title track of the same name. The EP achieved commercial success and garnered attention for its unique concept and powerful performances.
Following their debut, EXO-K continued to release albums and singles, including "XOXO," "Growl," and "Overdose." They gained a significant fan base both in South Korea and internationally, with their music and performances being well-received.
However, in terms of subunit activities, EXO eventually transitioned into promoting as one group rather than separate subunits. From that point on, their music and promotions were carried out by all the members together, rather than being divided between EXO-K and EXO-M.
It's worth noting that my knowledge is based on information available up until September 2021, so there may have been more recent developments or releases by EXO-K since then. For the most up-to-date information, it's advisable to refer to official sources and reliable K-pop news outlets.
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, EXO had already made their debut as a group in 2012. They debuted under SM Entertainment with two subunits: EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K focused on promoting in Korea, while EXO-M focused on promoting in China. However, in subsequent years, EXO transitioned into promoting as one unified group, with all members participating in their releases and activities.
If there have been any recent developments or announcements regarding EXO's debut in 2021 or beyond, I may not have that information. It's recommended to refer to official sources, SM Entertainment's announcements, or reliable K-pop news outlets for the most accurate and up-to-date information about EXO's activities.
